Aside from the electronic appliances which have recently been developed, little has changed with psychic appliances since their heyday in the 1800's. The ouija board is still being produced, although now by Parker Brothers, although now considerably smaller than originally intended as well as being made up of cardboard, stickers and ever so flimsy plastics. There are several other popular communications boards being both mass-produced as well as created by artists in limited quantities. With all humility, we'd like to announce several innovations which are available, for the first time, in our products.
Although at heart, we are craftsmen, we have taken advantage of the most modern technologies and material innovations to produce psychic appliances of unprecedented precision and capabilities. We believe put more effort into perfecting these tools than anyone else in history. We have studied all aspects of their construction and improved upon them until they were as close to perfect as possible. Everything product which we produce is hand-made and of extraordinary design. The "ouija board" brand began as solid wood, finished with a common wood finish. It has devolved into a piece of cardboard with a sticker on it. As for all of the handcrafted "artist" ouija boards out there, most often they are finished with a common polyurethane. Some won't even go that far, and instead use simple oil or wax coatings. Most of the communications boards which we manufacture are finished with what is arguably the most advanced finish ever created. We won't bore you with the specifics, but rest assured that it suits the requirements for a ouija board far better than any of the other finishes that have been used with lesser boards.
The product which we use costs over $300 a gallon. It takes special equipment and procedures to apply. Once we apply as many as ten layers of this super finish, with sanding and cleaning between each coat, it goes off to our polishing shop. Here we tediously polish this super surface to perfection. After it's carefully inspected, we finish it off with several applications of the finest wax available on the market. Aside from our boards, the finish we have chosen is most usually seen on the worlds finest wooden kayaks and yachts. The wax is the same that is specified by the Lamborghini automobile company in Italy. Even the buffing compounds we use are the finest. They are manufactured in Germany by the company that went on to become the Mercedes automobile factory.
When we developed our boards, money was no object. Quality was everything to us. The result is a board whose planchette glides with significantly less friction than any other board ever created.
